Reminder: Democratic U.S. Senate candidate debate and forums

The final televised debate between the Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate will be taped in Tucson on Thursday, August 5, 2010, and will air this evening on Arizona Illustrated with Bill Buckmaster on KUAT, Arizona Public Television Channel 6, at 6:30 p.m.  6:00 p.m. (corrected).

The Democrats of Legislative District 7 invite you to attend a “Town Hall” forum featuring all four of the Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate. The event is this Friday, Aug. 6, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Paradise Valley Community College (in the Performing Arts Center), 18401 N. 32nd Street (Phoenix). The forum will be moderated by former Valley radio and TV personality Bill Andres and the candidates will field questions from the audience. It is open to the public and the media. The Democratic Club of the Santa Rita Area (DCSRA) invite you to attend a forum for the Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate on Monday, August 16, at 5:30 p.m. at the Green Valley Recreation Desert Hills Social Center, 2980 S. Camino del Sol (Green Valley). The moderator will be a neutral DCSRA member and the format will be similar to the first two televised forums among the four candidates.
