Representative Grijalva Calls Out Kevin McCarthy and MAGA Republicans Hyprocrisy on Graham Platner

Some people really have no shame.

Many of them can be found in the ranks of the Republican Party, who thought, for some inexplicable reason, they could pass judgment on the now-former candidacy of Maine Democratic Senate Candidate Graham Platner, whose campaign ended when more accusations of sexual misconduct/assault/rape surfaced earlier in the week.

Probably the person with the most chutzpah is former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, who with a straight face, said on Fox “News:”

“The one thing I know about Republicans. When we had a very bad candidate and found out, we didn’t vote for that person. When Matt Gaetz came forward, we didn’t vote for him.”

Say again.

Wonder how many people across the country gagged or threw up something after hearing McCarthy’s remarks.

For those who may have forgotten, McCarthy is the man who traveled down to Mar-a-Lago weeks after Donald Trump enabled a domestic terrorist attack at the Nation’s Capitol on January 6, 2021, an event that had McCarthy fuming at his Duce at the time.

This is the person and the political party he belongs to who blessed Mr. Trump’s return for another run at the White House despite two impeachments, 34 criminal convictions, being indicted for mishandling classified documents and trying to overthrow the 2020 election results, and being found liable for sexual assault with fines totaling close to $90 million.

Then there is Texas and Ken Paxton, the impeached adulterer, an apparent real case example of voter fraud, whom the Republicans decided to support for the United States Senate.

What nerve.

What a slime ball.

Commenting on McCarthy’s and Republican nauseating hypocrisy, Representative Adelita Grijalva, while interviewing for a piece describing her first nine months in office, that will come out nexty week, said to Blog for Arizona:

“I’m sorry, the person in the White House is a felon. So please. Also, the allegations against Trump, were also verified, and lawsuits have been filed and won by the victims.

So that is the most hypocritical statement I’ve ever heard. I mean, literally, people in glass houses should not throw stones. And so while I personally believe that there are people who should not get a pass for any past behavior, I also need to acknowledge that we have to call people out and cannot be complicit when it comes to people who have committed crimes, period.”
