Sine Die Tuesday

That means lawmakers won’t have enough time to deal with the governor’s proposal to undertake legislation to uncover state employees from the merit system.

Pearce said his chamber would like to deal with the issue, but that decision depends on the House, he said.

“We’d like to move it out but, again, I’m not sure we can get it done before we sine die,” he said.

This is only a temporary reprieve. Gov. Brewer will bring her plan to destroy the merit system and return to the spoils system of political patronage and cronyism in yet another "ram it through, cram it through, jam it through" special session.

When the legislature leaves the building, board up the windows and doors and wrap the building in chains. Don't let them back inside the building to do any more damage to this state.
