Trump puppets, Texas Attorneys General Tom Paxton and Arizona’s Mark Brnovich, are suing the Biden Administration over its immigration procedures, claiming that “Biden created the border crisis.”
The two AGs are filing multiple lawsuits intended to persuade Republicans–many who voted for Biden–that Democrats are “too weak” to halt the escalating immigration crisis.
On January 26, Texas filed suit against the Biden Administration in federal court over its decision to stop most deportations for 100 days. One-eyed Paxton won a 14-day injunction against the moratorium in Texas, claiming it was unconstitutional.
Biden’s first priority upon entering office was to sign an executive order on January 20, 2021, banning deportations allowing his Department of Homeland Security to review Trump’s (and Stephen Miller’s) heartless, zero-tolerance immigration policies.
On the same day, Biden ended the construction of Trump’s Beautiful Wall and reversed his Muslim ban, assuring the world that “America is Back.”
Irreparable Harm
Meanwhile, Brnovich is alleging in his April 13 suit that providing undocumented immigrants with medical care causes “undue harm” to the state.”
Officials said the cost of 1,300 adults in ICE custody in 2019 cost about $180,000, and the federal government reimbursed a third of the expense, The Arizona Mirror writes.
Brnovich added that increased migration would result in more migrants dying during attempts to cross the border.
Brnovich argues that death, too, will cause “irreparable harm” as local law enforcement agencies will squander resources in “recovering the remains, investigating the deaths, which must be treated as a potential homicide, and engaging the Office of the Medical Examiner in the investigation.”
The state of Montana joined Brnovich as a party to the lawsuit.
U.S. Department of Justice attorney Michael Knapp said Arizona and Montana had not shown immigrants cause the Biden government irreparable harm.
Halting the Border Wall: An Environmental ‘Hazard’
Monday, AP reported Brnovich sued the Biden administration over what he calls “environmentally disruptive” decisions to halt border wall construction.
The clearly frivolous lawsuit filed in federal court says the reversals of previous policies violate the National Environmental Protection Act.
“Defendants have embarked on multiple environmentally disruptive policies without performing even cursory environmental analysis,” the lawsuit states.
Brian Segee, senior attorney at the Center for Biological Diversity, called the lawsuit “political grandstanding and an insult to border communities, wildlife, and wildlands.”
“If Arizona’s attorney general truly cared about the environment, he would’ve sued the Trump administration for ignoring environmental laws and tried to stop the destructive wall from being built,” Segee said.

Chief Magnus Gets Most Challenging Job
Earlier this week, Biden nominated Tucson’s police chief Chris Magnus for one of the country’s most challenging jobs: Commissioner of Customs and Border Protection.
Progressives hope Magnus can manage to find homes for the record number of children and teenagers stranded along the border and prevent more children from coming in.
Unlike Trump, Biden refuses to throw unaccompanied children out of the country or lock them up in cages.
Biden’s staff has been reduced to begging Health & Human Resources sponsors to foster the children.
It’s doubtful Magnus can work with either Texas or Arizona.
Magnus said in 2017 he believes that cracking down on immigrants increases crime by preventing them from working, paying taxes, and becoming legal citizens.
Magnus is a progressive policeman recognized nationally as the man in uniform hoisting a “Black Lives Matter” sign at a protest. He is gay and married.
Paxton is a xenophobe who joined Trump in opposing Dreamers’ path to citizenship.
Brnovich argued for voter suppression laws in the Supreme Court case this year, in Brnovich v DNC.
In a noxious tweet, Paxton described Biden’s deportation pause as “a seditious left-wing insurrection.”
“Paxton, a conservative firebrand who advised Trump during the former president’s failed quest to overturn the 2020 election, is currently under investigation for alleged securities fraud and is facing other legal troubles that include alleged bribery, “The Washington Post reported.

I loved reading Pelosi’s indomitable words.
She’s right on target and so is this piece.
