Donald Trump apparently does not want to debate Kamala Harris.
And he has lots of excuses for this new position.
Appearing on Fox’s Laura Ingraham show, the 34-time convicted, twice impeached, found liable for sexual assault, and traitorous failed President, first badly attempted to explain his remarks at a Turning Point Conference over the weekend that Christians should turn out and vote (viewers may get twisted like a pretzel trying to understand what he is saying.)
He called President Biden incompetent, obviously not remembering (maybe he is senile) how he tanked the economy and caused the death of thousands of people with his mishandling of the Coronavirus.
He then tried to disparage Vice President Harris calling her “not smart, radical, worse than Bernie Sanders, crazy, and a San Francisco Liberal.”
This fecal matter is coming from the convicted, twice impeached, liable for sexual assault felon who confuses Nicki Haley with Nancy Pelosi, says he will not help fund schools that require vaccines, and speaks about Hannibal Lecter as if he was real in his stump speeches.
He repeated the lie that she wanted to defund the police. Guess he never read the details of the Biden/Harris Administration American Rescue Plan that all his Republican cohorts voted against which…wait for it…provided aid to cities to fully fund the police and first responders.
On the possibility of debating the Vice President, Trump said:
“…I want to do a debate but I can also say this. Everybody knows who I am. Now people know who she is…I’m leading big in all the polls (he obviously has not read the news lately)…Yes, I’ll probably end up debating…But I can also make a case for not doing it. I don’t like rewarding fake news…They are going to make tens of millions of dollars with this debate. I don’t like ABC. I think it’s a terrible, terrible outfit…These are such bad people.”
The Harris for President Campaign, with the Vice President already pouncing on Mr. Trump starting to backpedal on debating last week, responded to the latest hedging from the MAGA leader.
Harris Campaign Communications Director Michael Tyler put out a statement that read:
“As Vice President Harris said last week, the American people deserve to hear from the two candidates running for the highest office in the land and she will do that at September’s ABC debate,” Tyler said. “If Donald Trump and his team are saying anything other than ‘we’ll see you there,’ — and it appears that they are — it’s a convenient, but expected backtrack from Team Trump. Vice President Harris will be there on September 10th — we’ll see if Trump shows.”
