Donald Trump, his family, and his friends (or the people who are piggybacking off him for their own gain) are laughing at you.
All the way to the bank in most instances.
While his Back to the Gilded Age, Anti-New Deal, Anti Great Society, Anti War on Poverty, Climate Denialism, Jim Crow, Voter Suppressing, White Nationalist-Anti-Immigrant, and Isolationist/Great Power Big Stick policies have made virtually everything people purchase more expensive, made the nation and world less safe, and have challenged citizens’ and non-citizens basic civil liberties in this country, Trump’s policies and corruption have made it Christmas every day for him and his friends and Hell on Earth for everyone else.
As mentioned in previous articles, the only new Golden Age for America that Trump boasted about in his second inaugural is the one for him, his family, his political enablers, and the top one percent.
And when Mr. Trump is asked about how his policies, like not signing bipartisan housing legislation that will help Americans achieve the American Dream, the President of the One Percent, commenting to reporters in the White House called it “Unimportant” and “A Yawn,” while urging passage of the voting suppression “Save” America Act measure.

Or how about this exchange between Republican “Representative” from Texas, Troy Nehls, where apparently 22 percent of his constituents live below the poverty line, and a reporter from Medias
Media’s Touch Reporter: “Congressman, real quick, how do House Republicans make the case that you’re fighting for affordability when you go back to your districts?”
Nehls: “Affordability? What are you talking about?”
Medias Touch Reporter: “Well, affordability is the big… “
Nehls: “I’m going to go there tomorrow. I’m going to… well, over the 4th. I’m going to get me a couple of big lobster tails. I’m going to get me some nice rib-eyes. I’m going to sit in my backyard with my family, my neighbors, and we’re going to be enjoying the Fourth, celebrating 250 years, the birthday. We’re going to be celebrating the greatest president of my lifetime, Donald J. Trump. Maybe watch some fireworks.
Media’s Touch Reporter: “You think the 60% of Americans who are living paycheck to paycheck can afford lobster tails and ribeyes and all of that?
Nehls: “Maybe not. Maybe the 60% of America don’t work as hard as I do either. I mean, I don’t know.”
The people in his Congressional District voted for that.
While Trump and his MAGA sycophants are brain-dead on the needs of the American People, the Aspiring Duce’s, his family, and cabinet kindred spirits, through inside trading, corporate and neopositic cronyism, and stock price manipulation, have bilked the global economic system for at least two billion dollars in income in areas like cryptocurrency, drone defense contracting, and Kazakhstan mines.
The Presidency is supposed to be about public service, not personal grifting.

While they pillage, pilfer, and destroy the country from within with their greed, corruption, white nationalist-chauvinist, and reactionary-backward agenda, Trump and his un-American allies continue to try to divert the blame from them to Trans Children or Immigrants or Democrats/Democratic Socialists.

Commenting on Trump’s blatant corruption, Arizona Representative Yassamin Ansari, a person who has actually advanced an affordability agenda, posted:
“The corruption is the point. Trump and his family are using the government like their own personal piggy bank — making billions from shady deals with authoritarian regimes while Americans struggle to afford healthcare and gas. It’s disgusting.
When Democrats retake the House, we will subpoena every single person involved.”
Representative Greg Stanton, who has helped spearhead the New Democrat Affordability Agenda, said:
“Trump’s financial disclosures confirm what we already knew: he’s cashing in on the presidency while working families are struggling to make ends meet.
It’s a disgrace.”
“What about the Emoluments Clause of the Constitution, because so much of that money…, have come from direct investments by Gulf State Countries into World Liberty Financial, which, of course, was founded by (Trump advisor and negotiator) Steve Witcoff, who is galivanting around the globe, replacing Marco Rubio as the Secretary of State. The Americans know there are massive conflicts of interest by doing so. So that should have been completely illegal: having this foreign company directly invest in the President’s company so that he could directly profit from that, and that drives cynicism by the American People. And it is simply wrong.”
Stanton is right about the cynicism of the American People rising. Especially for those people that can not feed their kids three times a day.
Senator Ruben Gallego, the person who has advanced legislation calling for an increase of the minimum wage to $20.00 an hour, posted:
Senator Mark Kelly, a legislator who has called for A.I. reform, investments in child literacy, reinvigorating the nation’s shipping industry, and permanent tax cuts for working Americans, posted:
“While working Americans are struggling to make ends meet, Trump enriched himself to the tune of $2.2 billion last year.
A foreign government bought into his crypto business and then got a sweetheart deal from his administration. Who is he really working for? This is textbook corruption.”
