On Sunday, May 8, 2011, their first opportunity after the successful mission into Pakistan to kill the world's most wanted mass murder and terrorist, Osama bin Laden, the Sunday Morning bobblehead shows on ABC, NBC, CBS CNN and FOX News all booked the architects and apologists for the Bush administration's illegal torture policy to take a "victory lap" by proclaiming (falsely) that illegal torture led to the discovery of bin Laden's location and the successful mission.
On Thursday, Sen. John McCain laid waste to the falsehoods and lies perpetrated by the architects and apologists for the Bush administration's illegal torture policy — without serious challenge from the media — on the Sunday Morning bobblehead shows.
Transcript of prepared Remarks by Senator John McCain on the floor of the U.S. Senate on the debate on the use of torture.

What we witnessed last Sunday was a coordinated "disinformation" campaign waged by the architects and apologists of the Bush administration's illegal torture policy, with the reckless indifference and/or willing complicity of the corporate media. In doing so, the corporate media aided and abetted the dissemination of disinformation (i.e., propaganda) in support of illegal torture by its perpetrators.
In light of the facts now clearly established, the Sunday Morning bobbleheads owe this nation an apology this Sunday for their reckless indifference and/or willing complicity last Sunday. Propaganda is illegal. Torture is illegal.
