The Trial Of The Century Has Been Delayed (At least A Day) (Updated)

I was psyched to see Dominion Voting Systems’ lawyers destroy FOX News Propagandists and Rupert Murdoch on examination under oath this week in the trial or the century. That’s entertainment, baby!

The judge announced a one day delay in the trial on Sunday night. There is conflicting reporting from different news agencies as to the reason why.

The Associated Press reports Judge delays trial over Fox News and 2020 election lies:

Without citing a reason, the Delaware judge overseeing a voting machine company’s $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit against Fox News announced late Sunday that he was delaying the start of the trial until Tuesday.

In his statement, Delaware Superior Court Judge Eric Davis said only that the trial, including jury selection, would be continued until Tuesday and that he would announce the delay in court on Monday.

Claire Bischoff, a Dominion spokesperson, said the company would have no comment on the trial delay, as did Fox Corp., which is being sued along with Fox News. Representatives of the network did not return a request for comment.

The start of Dominion Voting Systems’ $1.6 billion defamation trial against Fox has been pushed back by a day, the judge said on Sunday, with a source familiar with the matter saying the media giant was pursuing settlement talks.

The source, who was not authorized to speak publicly, told Reuters that Fox was seeking a possible settlement. The Washington Post and [Rupert Murdoch’s] Wall Street Journal also reported that Fox was pursuing settlement talks, citing sources.

“The Court has decided to continue the start of the trial, including jury selection, until Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. (1300 GMT),” Judge Eric Davis said in a statement, without providing a reason for the delay.

“I will make such an announcement tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. in Courtroom 7E,” he added.

Dominion and Fox declined to comment on the delay.

A settlement may be satisfactory to Dominion Voting Systems, and rescue FOX News from punitive damages, but it would be a disservice to the nation, which needs to see FOX propagandists and Rupert Murdoch destroyed and humiliated on the stand, under oath, using there own words against them. Rupert Murdoch’s evil fascist propaganda media empire needs to be treated like the Nazi propagandists at the Nuremberg Trials after World War II. Unfortunately, they will not face hanging for war crimes.

Here's my take on Fox-Dominion case-(as I'm sending telepathic messages to Dominion to not settle!) I can talk about the current case-but I can't then answer next logical question (b/c of my NDA)-"Did Fox ever ask you to make up shit when you were there?" Therein lies the problem

UPDATE: So you’re telling me no settlement? “A Delaware judge presiding over the landmark defamation case between Dominion Voting Systems and Fox News said Monday that the delayed trial will now begin Tuesday at 9am ET,” Axios reports.
