The Trump Death Cult Boos Their ‘Dear Leader’ For Telling Them To Get Vaccinated

The anti-democracy, pro-Covid MAGA/Qanon Trump death cult Sedition Party is suffering from collective insanity. They even turned on their “Dear Leader” on Saturday.

Huffington Post reports, Trump Booed At His Own Rally For Finally Telling The Truth About Something:

The most honest moment of Donald Trump’s Saturday night rally came when he gently urged his followers to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.

Some people in the crowd booed him for it.

It started out well enough. The crowd in Cullman, Alabama ― which declared a COVID-19 emergency just days before the rally ― cheered when the former president suggested it was OK to pass on the shot.

“I believe totally in your freedoms,” Trump said. “You gotta do what you have to do.”

The tone shifted with his next line.

“But I recommend — take the vaccines,” he said. “I did it, it’s good!”

And that’s when the crowd briefly turned on him.

Trump lost control of the Party of The Mob.

Trump was vaccinated back in January when he was still in the White House, but he said nothing about it publicly at the time.

Trump first tried to take credit for the vaccinations, Trump Takes Credit For Vaccine Created By Others, Including Immigrants, but the MAGA/QAnon Trump death cult is now so violently anti-science, anti-mask, and anti-vax, that they were having none of it. So much for the lame-ass theory I have heard media talking heads say that if we would just give Trump credit for the vaccines and even name it the “Trump Vaccine,” his death cult followers would get vaccinated. WRONG!

Michael Gerson blasts the Trump death cult personified by reckless and irresponsible GQP governors. Govs. DeSantis and Abbott, in denial and risking lives, have betrayed the public trust (excerpt):

In a few areas, however, the fourth wave has brought greater clarity. As covid’s third wave seemed to be fading in the spring, and the promise of normality was in the air, Republican governors Ron DeSantis of Florida and Greg Abbott of Texas came out strong — through legislative measures and executive orders — against masks and vaccine mandates. The issue had a growing symbolic power among right-wing populists, who are always searching for ways to operationalize their contempt for government. Accusations of covid-related coercion now constitute another front in the culture war. DeSantis and Abbott took full political advantage.

But then Florida and Texas led the resurgence of covid-19 in the United States, filling hospital beds and intensive care units across those states. Cities, school districts, hospitals and businesses naturally want to take measures such as mask and vaccine mandates that are equal to the severity of the outbreak.

Once again, Arizona Governor Doug Ducey, is “Mr. Irrelevant” to the national news media, even though he is just as incompetent and murderously negligent as governors “DeathSantis” and Abbott. Doug Ducey is the Rodney Dangerfield of GQP governors: “I don’t get no respect.

What was supposed to be a costless, largely symbolic political commitment has led DeSantis and Abbott to a particularly vivid moral choice. Should they allow local government and community institutions to save people from harm? Or should they actively prevent those measures to appease a radical faction of their party?

The decision, it seems, wasn’t close for them. There is no public evidence of inner turmoil. If they had defied the populist base of the Republican Party, their careers (and presidential prospects) would have been as good as over.

Now these governors have a problem, as does their party.

The challenge for the governors is that public health is not the same as other issues. Their actions will lead, directly and predictably, to deaths in their states. This constitutes a betrayal of public trust so grave — a violation of moral responsibilities so depraved — that I am not sure there is a word for it. Selling the lives of your fellow citizens to a foreign power is treason. What is the proper description of selling the lives of your fellow citizens to a crazed political interest group?

These governors are attempting, of course, to take refuge in principle — the traditional right not to have cloth next to your face, or the sacred right to spread nasty infections to your neighbors. But such “rights” talk is misapplied in this context. The duty to protect public health during a pandemic is, by nature, an aggregate commitment. Success or failure is measured only in a total sum. Incompetence in this area is a fundamental miscarriage of governing. Knowingly taking actions that undermine public health is properly called sabotage, as surely as putting anthrax in the water supply.

So maybe that’s the right word: saboteurs.

The MAGA/QAnon Trump death cult have intentionally sabotaged the initially successful response to Covid-19, and the saboteurs now are blaming the Biden administration for their own reckless and irresponsible behavior. Biden’s job ratings decline amid Covid surge, Afghanistan withdrawal in NBC News poll (“The survey findings demonstrate the public has grown more pessimistic about the coronavirus since April, [and] the country remains split over whether Covid-19 vaccines should be mandated.”)

The problem for the Republican Party is that one of the central demands of a key interest group is now an act of sociopathic insanity. Some of the most basic measures of public health have suddenly become the political equivalent of gun confiscation. It’s as if the activist wing of the GOP decided that municipal trash pickup is a dangerous socialist experiment. Or chlorine in public pools is an antifa plot. There can be no absolute political right to undermine the health and safety of your community. Or else community has no meaning.

Public health can’t be reasonably understood in culture war terms. There are no winners and losers here — because all of us, together, either win or lose. This is one area — perhaps the primary area — where we are one people. But it also shows how sick souls can result in sick and dead bodies.

The anti-democracy, pro-Covid MAGA/Qanon Trump death cult Sedition Party is collectively insane, and presents a serious public health threat, and national security threat. They must be turned out of power.

  1. Just how insane id the MAGA/Qanon Trump death cult? This insane. “MSNBC host Rachel Maddow rips Fox News on Friday night for pushing ‘horse dewormer’ as a treatment for COVID-19,” https://sports.yahoo.com/rachel-maddow-rips-fox-news-060454042.html

Calls to poison control centers in Mississippi are on the rise due to individuals ingesting the drug ivermectin, which is commonly used to eradicate and prevent parasites in livestock.

“People won’t take the vaccine because they’re super suspicious of that. But they’re taking horse deworming medication that they’re buying at a feed store? For COVID?” asked Maddow. “Why, on top of everything else Mississippi has to deal with right now, why are they dealing with this?”

“I have a guess,” she added, before playing a series of clips of Fox News personalities — including Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity — promoting ivermectin. Hannity pushed the drug as one of the “proactive treatments and practices that are already helping COVID-19 patients all across the country.”

Mississippi is currently struggling with the highest rate of COVID-19 cases and the lowest rate of vaccination in the country.

Meanwhile, “Fox News is busy saying, ‘Don’t take the vaccine, but do take this horse deworming medication, trust us, it is proven,’” said Maddow.

She went on to note that the Food and Drug Administration, the National Institutes of Health, and the World Health Organization all say “do not take ivermectin for COVID.”

Ivermectin should not be used against COVID, nor are livestock doses safe for people. In fact, Mississippi Health Department officials issued a warning: “Do not use ivermectin products made for animals. Animal doses are not safe for humans.”

Mississippi State Health Officer Dr. Thomas Dobbs said in a press briefing earlier this week, “You wouldn’t get your chemotherapy at a feed store. You wouldn’t treat your pneumonia with your animal’s medication.”

So now we’re back to the bad old days of Trump suggesting to inject bleach into your veins, and shining a bright light up your ass to cure Covid-19, instead of getting vaccinated with a tested and proven safe and effective vaccine? WTF is wrong with these people?

  2. The reality based community strikes back today. “Pfizer’s full approval triggers new vaccine mandates”, https://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/569051-pfizers-full-approval-triggers-new-vaccine-mandates

The full federal approval of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine on Monday immediately led to new vaccination mandates by government entities, a development that suggests more could be coming.

Immediately after the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave full approval to the vaccine Monday, New York City announced that all public school teachers and staff will be required to get the shot. The Pentagon later confirmed that it would move forward with a vaccine mandate for all military service members.

Biden administration officials believe that the private sector will follow suit.
