Tuesday night, Democratic candidates for U.S. Senate John Dougherty, Cathy Eden, Rodney Glassman, and Randy Parraz debated on Horizon (channel 8) in Phoenix.
You would never know this from today's newspapers. The McMedia have decided that since John McCain is kicking J.D. Hayworth's butt in the polls that this election is over, you can put it in the books. No need to report on the Democratic candidates. "We love you Johnny! See you at the next McMedia barbecue at your ranch (sic). Hugs and kisses from your devoted McMedia!"
Too bad most Arizonans are not as infatuated with John McCain as is his McMedia. Survey shows McCain & Kyl get fewer positive ratings:
The Behavior Research Center says 36 percent give a positive performance score to John McCain, down from 40 percent in January and 38 percent last September.
Jon Kyl received positive scores of 29 percent, down from 35 percent in January and 4 percent last September.
You can thank the McMedia for Arizona' twin embarrassments.
The final debate will be taped in Tucson on Thursday, August 5, 2010, and aired on Arizona Illustrated with Bill Buckmaster un KUAT, Arizona Public Television Channel 6, at 6:30 p.m.
