This is a test: How partisan is SOS Ken Bennett?

As AzBlueMeanie reported below, Judge Robert Oberbillig put the Quality Education and Jobs Act initiative, which renews the one cent sales tax for education, back on the ballot. It took Oberbillig less than an hour to hear the arguments and make a decision, meaning it was pretty much of a no brainer.

Justice prevailed — at least for now.

Will Ken Bennett do what he should and allow the initiative on the ballot without further fuss, or will he appeal Oberbillig's decision to the Supreme Court? According to Assistant Secretary of State Jim Drake, they haven't decided.

Remember when Bennett was the reasonably sane, level-headed Arizona conservative? Then came the birther thing where he said it's possible Obama won't be on the ballot in Arizona. Next it was this attempt to throw an initiative off the ballot due to a technicality, again indicating he was perfectly willing to deny Arizonans the right to vote on an issue which should be presented to them.

This is a test, Ken. Just how much do you put personal, arbitrary power over reasonable decision making?
