In a post earlier this week, The Buzz on Mills: Candidate defrauded business partner out of millions, I reported that Howard Fischer has the dirt on political neophyte and self-financed millionaire Republican candidate for governor, Buzz Mills. Court records: Gov candidate defrauded partner | eastvalleytribune.com.

The Arizona Capitol Times also reported on the scandalous fraud lawsuit of Buz Mills. Arizona Capitol Times » Blog Archive » Judge’s ruling: Mills defrauded his business partner.

Now political opportunist "Lyin' John" Munger, who also happens to be a candidate for governor, has called upon Buz Mills to withdraw from the race. I guess he figures that Buz Mills lying to his business partner is somehow worse than his lying to Arizona voters all the time. A judge held Buz liable in a court of law; for "Lyin' John" Munger, it is protected First Amendment speech. Political Insider: Gubernatorial foes lock horns:

Republican gubernatorial candidate John Munger is calling on his rival, businessman Owen "Buz" Mills, to withdraw from the state's governor's race, saying that Mills' business dealings in Florida raise "serious questions" about his "fitness to govern" and his electability.

Florida court documents indicate that Mills defrauded a business partner out of millions of dollars when he sold a company that the two jointly owned.

Mills was the majority owner with a 90 percent stake; his partner owned 10 percent.

In a 2001 ruling, Judge Paul Logan concluded that Mills deliberately did not tell partner John G. Mortellite that he had an offer to sell their firm, instead sending him on an extended vacation while he conducted negotiations.

The firm the two owned was in the business of acquiring sites for and building towers for the cellphone industry.

Because Mills did not disclose the sale offer to Mortellite, his partner sold his shares for an amount well below their actual worth.

Mills and Mortellite eventually reached an out-of-court settlement in 2003.

Mills' campaign … issued a statement on his behalf, questioning Munger's motives for publicizing the issue and reaffirming Mills' commitment to the race.

"Since (Munger's) flailing campaign needs attention, I guess this is his attempt at getting some," Mills' statement said. "As the only candidate for governor who will balance the budget by cutting spending across-the-board, who won't raise taxes, and who won't add mountains of debt … I look forward to the continued spirited debate."

Let me make this easy for you. Neither one of these guys should ever be elected to office.
