I miss Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

I miss their steadiness and competence.

I miss their economy.

I miss that they left the country better off when they founded it.

I miss their following the Constitution and Pro Democracy leadership.

I miss them working for the American People and not themselves.

I am fairly sure most people around the world, including groups that thought he did not care enough about them and gullibly believed his predecessor and successor’s serial lying about bringing down prices and ending wars, miss them now, too.

When Mr. Trump is not dozing off in the White House for all the press and the American People to see, he continually lies his ass off about negotiations with Iran, saying the war is won, he and the Israellis changed the regime, and they have agreed to all his terms.

That was all before extending the ceasefire, with Trump claiming Iran’s leaders need time to consider his terms and “he wants to take time” in coming to a deal with the Persian government.

Dizzy from all the head spinning, yet trying to organize all the lies and misinformation coming from the Mad King.

That is a far cry from Mr. Trump, who said that this war would take only five weeks and the people of Iran would rise up and overthrow their government.

However, this recent act does help one family in this country.

As numerous outlets have reported, including MSNOW, Trump’s two oldest sons (Donald Jr. and Eric) and son-in-law (Jared Kushner) are reaping the benefits of this war, securing defense contracts in drone weaponry and robotics, along with making billions from financial deals with Trump’s Arabian soulmates who run countries on the other side of the Persian Gulf.

When Trump talked in an Orwellian fashion about ushering in a new Golden Age, he was not talking about one for the average working and middle-class American who is being shafted and hosed at the gas pump and the grocery store every day.

He was talking about his family and all his donors in the fossil fuel industry who are seeing record profits.

It is gratifying that the mainstream press is finally giving more attention to Trump’s mental decline and his corruption.

When the Mad King dozes off in front of the White House Press Corps, they can not really avoid it.

Imagine if Biden did that. No one would ever hear the end of it.

And Trump’s family bilking the government for as much money as it can makes Hunter Biden’s paint sales look like a child shoplifting Cracker Jacks.

The Biden family did not start a war so they can increase the worth of their financial portfolios.

Affordability and Accountability.

Those are the issues Hillary Clinton recommended Democrats, after seeing how the Hungarian opposition prevailed over Orban, run on.

Running on that and a campaign to expand and lift up the Middle Class while bringing the corrupt Trumpists Epstein Class/Mara Largo Mafia, the justice they deserve should be winning issues that will bring public servants who actually care about the American People back into power, and hopefully start to steer the country in the right direction again.

  1. Biden, via Harris, lost the POPULAR VOTE to a child rapist and convicted felon.

    There is no way to sugar coat it, they gave PDFile Trump his first legit win.

    Biden promised corporate America that nothing would change and here we are.

    Things being worse now doesn’t mean things were great two years ago, young folks can’t afford homes now and they couldn’t afford homes then.

    • And after doing an extensive autopsy on Democrats losing in 2024 the DNC refuses to release the results. Guess the report rakes party leadership over the coals (and we can’t have that now, can we?).

        The TLDR version is Corporate Surrender Dems represent corporations and surrender to the right and voters don’t think dems care about their issues because dems have shown they don’t care about their voter’s issues and will surrender to the right.

    • Not Harris. The people who somehow overlooked decency and Trump’s criminal record and first term record, and thought he could make the price of bread cheaper. Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver. These people betrayed the country over the price of a loaf of bread.

      • They needed the bread because they were hungry because corporate dems don’t understand that the biggest issue in America is income inequality.

        And most people didn’t know PedoPotus was so bad because the free press in America is corporate owned so maybe we should listen to the voters more and trash them for their votes less.

        Things were not as bad under Biden but still bad and Harris offered nothing new.

        • Sorry, history and actual numbers dispute the claims in your last paragraph when you say, but still bad, and Harris offered nothing new. Having covered the administration and the campaign for the blog, I can personally attest to that. And your assertions that the free press is corporate owned is valid, but even they covered January 6. They covered Trump’s arrests and convictions. They covered Trump’s defeat in 2020 after he mismanaged the Coronavirus. So I have no problem trashing voters who should exercise the first responsibility of a citizen that wants to vote: Staying informed.

          • Okay, I’m speaking in generalities.

            Here’s a more specific reason for Harris’s loss.

            I’ll bet a kabillion-trillion dollars that the reason the Democrats won’t release their 2024 autopsy is because Gaza.

            Biden approved pipelines, which horrified younger folks who see a dystopian climate ravaged future, he allowed COVID benefits to end which put millions back into poverty and they lost healthcare.

            Things did not get better for most people under Biden, they still can’t afford rent and they get lectures about avocado toast if they speak up.

            But a lot of folks who would have voted for Harris in spite of all that couldn’t in good conscience vote for US dollars and weapons supporting genocide.

            I voted for Harris and she was my first choice in 2020, but I get it.

            I realize I can be abrasive in my tone and I appreciate you approving my comments anyway.

      • Y’all are overlooking the power of racism and misogyny in your discussion about Kamala. Her messaging was a bit off sometimes and not aligned with voter priorities. And her loyalty to Biden was a mistake given his ratings. There were other issues as well, all minor compared to her opponent being a proven unqualified, lying, trash talking, racist misogynist and world class grifter. By comparison, Kamala was a genius.

        We haven’t got a head count, but rest assured plenty of voters chose Trump for his orange tinted skin and his fear of people of color becoming the majority. The price of bread was a thin veneer over the problems this country cannot be honest about, race and gender, and who will be excluded from the most powerful positions. Trump is nothing more than the backlash to the Obama presidency. But he fell in love with absolute power and he’s dangerous. Even so, the white supremacists would choose him again. All we can hope for is that their numbers are diminishing.
