Willard ‘Mittens’ Romney cries ‘uncle!’, wants a ‘truce’

Posted by AzBlueMeanie:

Are you effin' kidding me? Willard "Mittens" Romney, the candidate whose entire campaign is premised upon his private sector business experience at Bain Capital (because he does not want to talk about his record as Governor of Massachusetts), is calling on President Obama to agree to a truce over his business career.

“Our campaign would be — helped immensely if we had an agreement between both campaigns that we were only going to talk about issues and that attacks based upon — business or family or taxes or things of that nature,” Romney said, according to excerpts of an interview with NBC’s Chuck Todd released Friday.

Romney's central qualification for the presidency is now an issue that he wants off the table, free from all public scrutiny. Romney just cried "uncle!"

Which makes the earlier taunt from his campaign surrogate, John Sununu, so ironically funny. Sununu: Obama is a wuss.

Worst. Candidate. Ever.

I keep telling you Tea-Publicans, it's not too late. Not a single vote that counts — delegates at the GOP convention — has been cast. You can still have an open convention and choose the candidate your dark hearts desire, and kick this loser to the curb.

UPDATE: Sweet! Pro-Obama Super PAC Priorities USA launched a new TV ad Friday aimed at attacking Mitt Romney’s business record (video below the fold).

  1. Watch Rachel Maddow’s shows from this week…it’ll blow your mind how those “patriotic American Uber wealthy” don’t give a rat’s ass about supporting the country that gave them the opportunity.

Romney is a clueless, entitled moron. I should say thank you though…they are about to get their collective asses KICKED!

  2. Romney and his mouth – the gift that keeps on givng – to Democrats!!! I am predctng a brokered convention and that Jeb Bush will be the nominee! as for the tax fiasco, it only demonstrates that the only people who have to pay their taxes are those on a salary whose taxes are withheld. Then the challenge is to find enough things to be able to deduct. But never, no way, can you achieve the tax-avoidance success of the wealthy!!!!!

  3. word is that Romney will announce his VP pick tomorrow at 8:30am. Really? A Saturday morning? WTF is up with that? Weak time…bit no matter…word on the street is that he’ll pick Mr. Let’s Gut Medicare…Mr. Paul Ryan:) Yes…let’s have that debate! What a moron.

  4. Very sweet! Love the ad (and the bus).

Fighting Dems: It’s so nice to see you. We’ve been waiting.
