Does anyone think Barack Obama could have written a better Art of the Deal book?
With word of a kind of armistice deal between Iran and the United States that will be finalized (hopefully, depending on the details) with a more permanent deal in about two months, Donald Trump, the man who bankrupted a casino and who signed on to the Afghanistan withdrawal deal that brought the Taliban back to power, is using language similar to Obama’s Iran nuclear deal and apparently, depending on which side can be believed, willing to release Iranian assests between $25 and $300 billion (Obama only released $1.7 billion) to get them to sign on the dotted line and reopen the Strait of Hormuz which was open to free passage before the Stable Genius and his Israellis Counterpart, Benjamin Netanayhu started this ill conceived and poorly planned war in February.
Who could have told them how this would end?
Anyone with a knowlegde of history, and international relations while possessing common sense.
Through their actions, ego mania, and stupidity, Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu have made the world less safe and secure, possibly, as pointed out by Katy Kay and others on MSNOW earlier today, ushering in a new dawn of nuclear proliferation.
The United States, Israel, and the rest of the world are worse off than before the war began.
People here in the United States and around the world are suffering worse financially because of it, paying higher prices at the gas pump and grocery stores. At the same time, Trump escapes reality and fleeces the American taxpayer with his disgraceful UFC event at the White House, where a Nethanderal fighter, Josh Hokit called Michelle Obama “A man” in front of a beaming Joe Rogan, proving trash is trash, no matter what race or income level they are at.
Iran is stronger and is looking at a financial windfall when it starts, despite what Trump claims, demanding tolling and insurance payments from ships traversing the Strait of Hormuz.
Of course, Trump told the New York Times that he will make the United States the “Guardian of the Middle East” for 20 percent of the nation’s revenues in that region combined if Iran starts up its nuclear program again.
The words of the imperialist and Mafia extortionist.
He also praised Russia and China’s leaders for helping achieve this deal and berated Netanyahu’s military strikes on Lebanon as obstacles to it.
Guess Bibi is finding out what Trump’s other friends have found through the years.
He will screw you if it helps him.
That said, hopefully the Israellis will vote out Netanyahu this fall and retire him to the nice jail cell he richly deserves.
And hopefully, American voters will elect checks to Trump power in the November Midterms and put in public servants that will actually put America First while also being a Good Global Neighbor.
Hopefully.

I was in sales and finance in the 80’s and read “The Art of the Deal” when it came out in paperback.
Bought it at a used bookstore, which in hindsight makes me happy.
Trump was just an oddity back then, and reading the book you could tell it was nonsense. There are since debunked stories in the thing.
Tony Schwartz, the actual author of the book, says ghost writing for a celebrity back then meant a 100 grand paycheck. As a goof he quoted double that to Trump, and the PDFile agreed without a counter offer.
So much for being a great dealmaker, he paid double the going rate.
And the PDFile in the White House agreed to a 50/50 split of royalties!
In the book Trump even says he tells people what they want to hear, which is not usually the truth.
Schwartz also says writing the book was basically taking hours of nonsense words from Trump and making them into coherent sentences.
He’s been open about this, why wasn’t it covered more back in 2015?
Since 2016, Schwartz has been donating most of his royalties, and its been a lot, to the National Immigration Law Center, a pro-immigration group. 🙂
Those of us that read the book and followed the business side of Trump’s career since have long known what MAGA is just now finding out, Trump is bad at business.
Like how the 200 million dollar ballroom becomes 250, 300, and I’m seeing closer to 900 million now, because Trump is impulsive and can’t control himself.
This inability to control himself is why his businesses went bankrupt, like the casinos, and the MSM should have covered this back in 2015, same for the Dems, but everyone thought he was a clown and ratings were good and there was no way he could win.
Warren Buffet used to teach Trump as a cautionary tale, “”Buffett explained, “The big problem with Donald Trump was he never went right. He basically overpaid for properties, but he got people to lend him the money. He was terrific at borrowing money. If you look at his assets, and what he paid for them, and what he borrowed to get them, there was never any real equity there.””
Buffet said Trump was a bad manager but good at self promotion.
Trump can’t make a good deal with Iran because he’s impulsive, mentally fucked up, and can’t keep his own mind in order, let alone keep his story straight, and being born into money means he’s always had CPA’s and lawyers bailing him out.
To this day I hear MAGAts saying they trust the demented old pervert because “he’s a smart businessman”.
That I, a random internet blog troll living in the desert knows all this but the general public does not, is why I hate, in this order, the DNC, MSM, and GOP.
In that exact order.

A conman will always con. At least 30% of the voters can be conned always. Meanwhile the disgraced rogue cop got an anti Sharia fantasy law through that is also a complete con job and means nothing. A disgrace.
