Potentially Potent: The Libertarian-Green Combo

The Libertarian and Green Parties have a few things in common. Most noticeably, they've both been wandering in the desert for decades and, in terms of the struggle to gain popularity, they're both as lost today as they've ever been.

I wonder, though, if they seized on their other commonalities — especially their intense distaste for U.S. foreign and military policy — and put everything else aside, whether they might bring an end to their wandering.

Rep. Andrea Dalessandro is the sponsor of House Concurrent Memorial HCM 2007 to urge the Arizona House to send a letter of protest to Congress to the
proposed closing of Tucson's Cherrybell Mail Processing Center. It is
located in her Legislative District 2.

HCM 2007 is on the Committee on Government agenda for Tuesday, February 19 at 2:00 p.m., Room HHR 4. Rep. Dalessandro requests that you submit your public comments to the committee members in support of HCM 2007.

The U of A Presents series at the University of Arizona has scheduled MSNBC host Rachel Maddow to discuss her book "Drift" at the U of A Centennial Hall on April 6.
