2016 White House Correspondents Association Dinner


Oh noes! It’s that time of year again, when reporters infotainment celebrities hobnob with Hollywood celebrities at the annual White House Correspondents Association dinner aka “Nerd Prom” on Saturday evening.

Larry Wilmore, host of “The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore” on Comedy Central, is the featured entertainer at the annual dinner. Larry is one funny guy! He should be great.

Red carpet arrivals will begin around 5:30 p.m. ET, the actual dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. President Obama and Larry Wilmore are expected to deliver their remarks around 9:45 p.m. ET.

Presumably the cable jockeys will also be promoting themselves on their networks as well.

  1. Must see TV! President Obama turned this snore fest into an event to look forward to each year. Wouldn’t miss this for the world:) Poor tiny hands Trump… Thin skinned whiner can’t handle the ribbing. Says all you need to know.

  2. Wilmore’s style is more casual than Colbert’s, but his show is just as biting.

    Wilmore, John Oliver, and Samantha Bee may be the only reasons to have a television these days.

    Too bad Trump is too chicken to attend this year.
