Arizona Daily Star is failing Southern Arizona with its endorsements – Part 2

The Arizona Daily Star continues the “Chinese menu” system in its endorsements of state legislative races today: one Democrat and one Republican in House races, the Democrat in Senate races (with one deviation today in LD 14).
LD 10 Bradley for Senate; Vogt, Wheeler for House.
LD 11 We select Holt in Senate; Joseph, Kwasman for House.
LD 14 Fleming, Leach and Stonebraker all bring fresh ideas to voters.
As I said yesterday, this is a disservice to the residents of Southern Arizona.
I want to point out the foolish inconsistency in the Star's "Chinese menu" methodolgy today, focusing on one issue of importance to the editors of the Star: women's access to reproductive health care.

League of Conservation Voters ad: ‘We can’t risk Jeff Flake in the U.S. Senate’

The League of Conservation Voters and the Democratic-affiliated Majority PAC launched a $470,000 ad buy in the Arizona Senate race on Monday.
The new ad attacks Jeff Flake on the issue of uranium mining, contrasting his idea with the image of a little girl drinking a glass of water: "Flake sponsored legislation to allow uranium mining that would threaten the Colorado River — by companies like the one he worked for as a lobbyist. The same type of companies that gave Flake thousands in campaign cash. It's the most dangerous kind of Washington politics. We can't risk Flake in the Senate."

The Obama campaign is up with a new ad entitled "Main Street," touting bringing the economy back from the abysss of the Bush Great Recession. Description:
"We've gone from pulling into our parking lot which was so depressing there would be two or three cars in this parking lot—from a parking lot being full. We have a whole second shift that we brought in new employees—we have a future at our plant now. When you look at the President's plan I don't think there can be any question that we're on the right course for today's economy. President Obama does get what people need and that's jobs and the opportunity to help themselves. Stick with this guy he will move us forward."
