How can our elected representatives continue to allow the orange menace to continue to destroy our government and country with his illegal and immoral executive orders?! He is going to kill millions, AGAIN! IMPEACH and remove! Use the 25th Amendment to lock him up in a mental ward!
totally agree, BUT: the Democrats simply cannot do it. They do not have the votes. So, alas, it is now in the hands of the GOP and they no longer are a functioning political party but simply cowering or complicit sycophants who absolutely do not care about America. The GOP must be recognized as the problem. People must be helped to understand that it is the conservative ideology, the lies of the far right, and the stupidity of the Democratic party for the last 40 years, for moving away from people power and seeking the money from corporate financing, and thus – the interests of the capitalist class are what seems to matter. We definitely need a complete overhaul of how our government is run, since we are now witnessing the collapse of a system that was for a large part, functioned by respect, tradition, and respect for the law. We are no longer there.
You’re absolutely right. Unfortunately the DCCC & DSCC are addicted to supporting “Repug Lite” centrist candidates. If they manage to get into office during a Blue Wave election they wind up losing after a cycle or two. If their candidates lose their primaries to a Progressive the DCCC & DSCC have been known to abandon the race.
Not to mention those centrists sometime sabotage progressive Democratic initiatives, all in the name of chasing that elusive bipartisanship fairy.
But, times are a changing and hopefully, we are going to MAKE them go away. The younger generation is going to eventually take over. We need to help them do that.
