“Join us for our second Strike Back Saturday event this Saturday, June 20, at 12:00 p.m. at the Murphy-Wilmot Library for a conversation with Duncan Sohn Hasman, teacher and president of AFT Local 6627. Strike Back Saturday is a meeting series for dues-paying DGT members to connect with campaign professionals, labor organizers and other experts to learn how to win elections this year and beyond.
Duncan will share insights from his experiences leading union drives at local schools and discuss the larger political implications of labor-friendly Democratic campaigns. He’ll discuss the successes of the Red for Ed effort and share best practices for political staff and volunteers.
