For the Protesters in Murrieta, California who dare to wave the U.S. flag and chant “USA! USA! USA!” while they denigrate everything this country stands for in the world by angrily shouting at refugee women and children “send them back!,” here is a timely reminder on the 4th of July that we are a nation of immigrants, and even these angry white people came here from somewhere else. Americans are a better people than this. We should aspire to live up to our highest ideals, and not sink to the depths of the times that we have failed to live up to our ideals.
The New Colossus

I see mike is still at it setting readers up for being called racist if you disagree with his anti-constitutional rantings!
I’m sorry free speech offends you. Perhaps we should charge them with hate crimes and send them to prison?
I saw numerous pictures of that crowd, and there were a fair number of hispanic faces throughout it. The local news interviewed a couple of the protestors and their objection was to having the refugee facility located in their town. It may not be as simple as anti-immigrant sentiment.
