John Boehner: Worst. Speaker Ever. (Part whatever)

Posted by AzBlueMeanie:

Screenshot-6I have posted numerous times about how the TanMan, Weeper of the House John Boehner, is the Worst. Speaker. Ever. There has not been a speaker this weak and this incompetent in modern American history — and that includes the disgraced former Speaker Newt Gingrich at the end of his reign of error.

The feckless media villagers have been allowing John Boehner to get away with repeatedly stating the stupidest talking point I have ever heard from a congressional leader without calling him out on it. Boehner tells Senate to 'get off their ass;' Reid says GOP 'sitting on their posterior':

We have moved a bill in the House twice. We should not have to move a third bill before the Senate gets off their ass and begins to do something,” Boehner told reporters in a press conference, repeating a message he had just delivered in a closed-door meeting of the House Republican conference.

“It’s time for the Senate to act,” Boehner said. “It’s not about the House. We’ve acted.”

Is this man really this incompetent? Is he so ignorant that he does not understand the most basic fundamentals of his job?

Pay attention feckless media villagers. This is the obvious point that each of you should have been making each time the TanMan opened his mouth to repeat this ignorant claim. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi embarrasses you all and demonstrates how to do your job. Pelosi To Boehner: Bills You Passed Last Congress Don't Count:

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) addressed Speaker John Boehner's (R-OH) contention Tuesday that the
Senate get up off their "ass" and act because House Republicans voted
twice to avoid the sequester last year.

"The Republican leadership says we passed bills last year," Pelosi
said. "I remind them, that was a different Congress. That doesn't count
in this Congress
. The Republican leadership says let the Senate begin. I
remind them that the Constitution says that appropriations and revenue
bills must begin in the House.
"

By the way, those two bills that Boehner keeps referencing that passed in the 112th Congress passed by the bare minimum number of votes, and went to die in the Senate. When the 112th Congress ended, it was game over. Those bills are entirely immaterial and irrelevant.

The current 113th Congress has NOT passed a sequester replacement bill — one has not even been proposed because John Boehner and his Tea-Publican leadership have steadfastly refused to specifically identify any spending cuts they want to make. And as Nancy Pelosi accurately pointed out, all tax and spending bills must originate in the House. U.S. Constitution, Article I, Section 7. The Senate has nothing on which to act.

It is the Worst. Speaker Ever. who is posturing before the media villagers and needs to "get off his ass and begin to do something." And the feckless media villagers should start doing their damn jobs and pointing out that the TanMan needs to do his.
