Demand the Canadians drop the French Language and rename Lake Ontario Lake America.
Have the Justice Department launch lawsuits against states like Arizona that passed citizen-supported measures to allow Dreamers to pay in-state college tuition rates.
How insane and juvenile is that?
How freaking incompetent and racist?
How are those weak moves going to put more food on the table of Americans, get them cheaper health insurance rates, or lower prices at the gas pump?
People need to understand that there is nothing…nothing that Donald Trump and his team have done that is going to help them or move the country forward. These MAGA-Project 2025-White Nationalist policies are designed for three things:
- Enrich Trump, his family, and his political and financial allies.
- Turn the clock back to a time when racism was permitted, white males dominated, isolationism was the nation’s foreign policy, corporate and political hegemony over the whole American Hemisphere, including Canada, was desired, and the rich getting richer and the poor receiving financial crumbs was acceptable.
- Promote and encourage scapegoating of the other and general ignorance among most of the American People, especially his reactionary, gullible, and bigoted MAGA base.
- Implement Trump, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Peter Thiel, and Elon Musk’s Long-Termist-Eugenics Agenda.
Members of Arizona’s Democratic Congressional Delegation and State Leaders posted reactions to the latest examples of Mad King Trump’s ineptitude.
On masked federal contractors, at the Trump Administration’s behest, entering the Tohono O’odham Nation,, Representative Adelita Grijalva wrote in a statement:
“There is no justification for armed federal agents and contractors entering Tribal lands in the early hours of the morning and proceeding with construction activity without the consent of the Tohono O’odham Nation. The federal government cannot claim to respect Tribal sovereignty while simultaneously sending armed personnel onto a sovereign Tribal Nation’s lands and blocking Tribal police from enforcing Tribal law.”
“The United States must honor its obligations to Tribal Nations and respect the sovereignty, laws, sacred places, and ancestral lands of the O’odham people. We have already seen the irreversible damage caused when this Administration rushes forward with border construction.These actions come less than 24 hours after the Chairman and I visited this sacred site. I stand with Chairman Jose and the Tohono O’odham Nation in demanding that this activity stop immediately.”
Representative Greg Stanton posted:
“Sending masked, armed agents onto Tohono O’odham land and blocking Tribal police from their duties is an unacceptable violation of Tribal sovereignty. @SecMullinDHS should immediately de-escalate, honor the government-to-government relationship, and work with Chairman Jose to address the Nation’s concerns directly.”
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs said:
“My office is in communication with Chairman Jose. The federal government should not bulldoze over tribal sovereignty. DHS needs to de-escalate and consult with the Tohono O’odham Nation to address their concerns—not force its way through tribal lands.”
On the lawsuit against states providing in-state tuition rates for Dreamers, Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes wrote in a press release:
“The federal government has now sued 21 states for letting Dreamers who attended school in places like Arizona be able to afford a college education at our state’s community colleges and universities. Fundamentally, this is about state’s rights and I will vigorously defend Arizona’s right to set its own rules, especially ones that are passed by voters themselves.”
Representative Greg Stanton offered:
“Dreamers deserve the same access to a college degree as their neighbors with citizenship. AZ voters already settled this in 2022 with Prop 308. The Trump administration’s lawsuit to revoke their access to in-state tuition is baseless and wrong, and it will be swiftly defeated.”
Senator Mark Kelly conveyed:
“The Justice Department is suing Arizona for allowing Arizona high school graduates, including Dreamers, to qualify for in-state tuition. These are people who grew up in our state and are Americans in every way. Going after states that support Dreamers doesn’t fix our broken immigration system or make our country safer.”
On Trump’s now six month war of choice against Iran on the public dime while people have their health care insurance cut, Senator Ruben Gallego posted:
On Trump’s changing the name of Lake Ontario to Lake America, Gallego quipped in another post, “That’s definitely going to make food more affordable.”
Senator Kelly, appearing on CNN, also criticized Trump’s misplaced priorities, saying:
“The number one job of a leader is to improve people’s lives. He said there in the Oval Office, he has spent a lot of time thinking about this. How does changing the name of a lake help the American people? They can’t afford their lives right now.
Because of his actions, the price of energy, specifically gas and diesel, has been jacked up substantially. People can’t afford to put gas in their car. They can’t afford rent.
They can’t afford food. And it’s all because this guy refuses to even try to do the job.”
Representative Yassamin Ansari had similar sentiments in the post below.
Representative Ansari also had strong critque for Trump and his anti immigration zealots like Stephen Miller, posting:

On Trump’s preposterous trade war with Canada, Senator Kelly wrote:
“Trump should be working to bring down your costs, but instead he’s picking fights with our allies and starting trade wars that will raise your bills. Unless you’re a billionaire, Trump doesn’t care about you.”
In November, voters need to turn out and choose candidates who will put all the people and the country first, not the ones they think are worthy of their attention, like the current occupants of the White House and MAGA Republican Congressional Leadership.
