The Office of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords will be hosting workshops, Medicare 101: A Guide to Enrollment and Security:
Please join us at one of three upcoming Medicare user workshops. Representatives from the Office of Congresswoman Giffords, Health and Human Services and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services will present information on Medicare enrollment, Medicare fraud and getting help with Medicare problems. Following their presentations, speakers will be available to answer individual and group questions.
Medicare Enrollment and Coverage
Peter Bauer – Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
Presentation will include the basics of Medicare enrollment, Medicare Part D and information on prescription drug plans, Medicare
Savings and secondary insurance.
Medicare Fraud
Il Yong Jeon – Health and Human Services, Office of the Inspector General
Presentation will include trends in Medicare fraud, instructions for reporting Medicare fraud and tips on Medicare ID theft prevention and other ways to keep your personal health information safe.
Getting Help
Dan Frey and Amanda Sapir– Office of Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords
The office of Congresswoman Giffords may be able to assist you with problems related to Medicare. The congresswoman’s staff will
discuss common problems and what they can do to help.
