In the recent election, many working class voters shifted their votes to the Trump/Vance ticket with the belief that their positions were more aligned with theirs.
It is now time for Trump/Vance to present their agenda for working class voters that will help lift them up.
Will it include:
- A rise in the federal minimum wage?
- Paid family and medical leave?
- An expansion of the Earned Income and Child Tax Credits?
- A doubling of apprenticeships for good paying blue and green collar jobs.?
- Plans to make housing affordable?
- Stimulus for small business start ups?
- Increased Tax Credits or other funding to send children to child care or pre-school?
- An increase in Pell Grants?
- Going after price gougers engaged in massive corporate greed?
- Expanding the prescription drug benefit to non seniors.
During the campaign, the Trump/Vance ticket, outside of a call to eliminate taxes on tips and overtime (which honestly probably had a lot of appeal,) did not present an agenda for working class people.
It is time for Trump/Vance and those Republicans that subscribe to be for the working class to present their agenda, in addition to their tax ideas, to help them.
it is time to put their policies where their mouths are and deliver for the people that put their trust in them.
Let us see if they deliver.

Yeah, that was a dumb move on their parts.
For what it is worth, Trump’s campaign schedule was far more intense than Harris’s and Trump was coherent and did not talk in word salads, as did Harris.
@ Sen. Kavanagh –
As far as intense schedules go, it was clear that Cheeto golfed more than Harris.
And the only way he’d gone the word salad route more often is if it was on the menu at a fast food restaurant .

Trump was coherent talking about Hannibal Lecter, Haitians eating dogs, and electric boats versus sharks. In one event, he stopped taking questions and hummed and danced badly to music for over 30 minutes. What is your definition of coherent John?
Interesting how you perceive Trump’s working-class agenda. But let’s look at what he promised them and everyone else:
Drill, baby, drill and terminate green energy scams to lower the price of energy
Tax cuts for workers
Better trade deals favoring American workers
Increasing defense spending
Ending critical race theory, boys in girls’ sports and other far-left woke programs
Upholding the 2nd amendment because working-class people “cling to their guns,” as you Dems say.
Restore free speech on college campuses and on social media.
Do you also support those promises that he made or just your spun ones???
Oh my God. How is any of this a working class agenda that will lift people up and move Arizona and the country forward John. You really think clean energy is worse than the by products of oil and gas production, John? You look at the pollution crap that is taking over our oceans and killing marine life. The tax cuts you are championing at both the state and federal level only gave crumbs to the workers while giving your plutocratic-oligarch-rich buddies the lions share of the cuts in addition to welfare for the rich programs like vouchers. Critical Race Theory is another bogeyman your side created to scare people from learning actual history like what happened at Indian boarding schools or Blacks during Reconstruction or the land grab from Mexicans following the Mexican-American War. Increasing defense spending. We outspend China, Russia, India, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, South Korea, Japan, and Ukraine combined.I would rather use any increased funds to invest in cybersecurity threats posed by Trumps buddies like Putin and advancing the space programs. Boys in girls sports and vice versa. Oh yeah. That is really going to wreck society and Western Civilization as we know it. I have no problem with the second amendment. My father and brother are hunters. I have a problem with wackos using assault weapons to shoot presidential candidates and innocent children in schools and crowds. Don’t you John. Only a moron would not support free speech on college campuses or social media. Does not mean I have to listen to it or believe if its disinformation or downright crap. Your turn John. What is wrong with helping people with child care costs? What is wrong with doubling apprenticeships and increased pell grants for people in blue and green collar jobs? What is wrong with paid family and medical leave job if workers have earned it through their time working hard? What is wrong with Universal Pre-K so all children could get a head start on education. Oh, I forgot. You and Mr. Trump do not want people educated. In fact Mr. Trump is on record loving the uneducated. What is wrong with going after price gougers? Are you not upset John that the leaders of these greedy corporate entities are making enormous profits while raising prices on the your constituents? What are you going to do about that John? Are you going to propose legislation to stop them? I look forward to your response John.
So Trump should abandon the policies he told the voters he would enact, the policies that allowed him to trounce Harris, and instead adopt Harris’s policies? Wait, scratch that because Harris had no policies. …and then adopt Democrat policies? You are delusional.
John. As usual you evade and do not respond to anything I wrote because that would be admitting your intellectual and policy dishonesty. As to Harris having no policies, pretty much all the policies cited in the article came from…wait for it…The Harris/Walz Campaign.
She said she did not disagree with any of Biden’s policies, which is why she lost, among other things
Which policies should she have disagreed with John? The Bipartisan Infrastructure Act. The CHIPS Act? The Inflation Reduction Act that cut drug prices for seniors like insulin and invested in clean energy? The American Rescue Plan that helped deliver the nation from COVID and helped schools, small businesses, and cities (including public safety) weather the funding storm. The Child Tax Credit that cut poverty in half? The Pact Act that helped veterans. The first gun safety legislation since the 1990’s. Trying to end the war between Gaza and Israel? The nation’s energy policy which sees all sectors at record levels? The comprehensive immigration reform plan that they proposed at the beginning of the administration that Republicans balked at. The Border Security Bill that Republicans, with Trump’s urging balked at. The expansion of N.A.T.O. and aid to Ukraine? Again, John, which policies should she have disagreed with?
John Kavanagh thinks critical race theory is being taught in elementary schools. LOL!
Thinks a convicted felon famous for not paying workers and union hating Elon the African immigrant are pro worker!
KKKavanagh thinks “drill baby drill” will help Americans? It will certianly help Exxon, history’s most profitable scam.
I wonder if KKKavanagh knows why there are always tankers filled with fossil fuels parked offshore? Does he know how the price of oil is manipulated? How “free” markets work?
Is the convicted rapist and felon going to tell oil companies how to run their businesses?
Or will he just thank them for spending millions at his hotels, like he did with China in his other term? Over 5 million in Trump’s pocket from China in just four years…. pretty good scam!
You have the making’s of a pretty good tight five for your next open mic, troll boy!
Wait, KKKavanagh thinks tariff’s will be good for American workers? Dude, there’s a calculator built into every computer, learn to use it. Look up who pays for those tariff’s.
And this creepy old weirdo thinks there’s no free speech on college campuses! OMG!
What this old government mooch is actually upset about on college campuses are consequences.
You can say whatever you want, but some folks may disagree….
Oh… there it is…. stifle disagreement…. yeah, that tracks.
Facist, ignrant and dumb is not a good look, John Who is Arizona’s Biggest Hypocrite by Far and that includes Synema, so llke, wow.
Four years from now the USA and the world will be worse off, and you’ll have no one else to blame but yourselves.
Let’s talk then, when you’re voting straight Dem after learning some harsh lessons.
Too bad millions of people have to suffer to get this clown to learn how America, Capitalism, and the GOP actually work.
A couple off your list, but certainly not the Democrat ones. After all, you were rejected at the polls.
Of course you would not John because that would actually mean helping the people.
I wouldn’t count on it. A much greater chance that he will turn over a lot of governing to Vance and the Project 2025 folks, and I don’t see a lot in that document that favors working folks or implements the kinds of policies you list in your post.
Could be wrong but I seem to recall that in 2016 Felonious Punk asked John Kasich to be his running mate with Kasich doing much of the work and FP taking credit for any successes.
If Vance goes for doing much of FP’s governing he’s a bigger fool than we thought.
@ WileyBud –
I still think that in 3-6 months, Vance will drop the 25th Amendment on Cheeto’s ass.
I thought of that Craig & that has probably occurred to Punk himself which is why the overriding criteria for his cabinet (acting or not) is personal loyalty to him. And they’re probably not going to be as loyal to the couch boy.
@WileyBud –
I believe that Vance may secure the support of Cheeto loyalists in the cabinet by promising to issue a preemptive and blanket pardon to him and his acolytes.
You could be right Craig, we’ll just have to see how this all shakes out.
