State Senator and Trump Extremist Wendy Rogers Faces Harassment Complaint

Head case State Senator Wendy Rogers has until Monday to respond to an ethics complaint that she harassed and abused a young staffer.

Like most people with delusions, who are most likely psychotic, Rogers is also viciously abusive. The Arizona Republic has labeled her a “whack job.” Rogers is a member of the right-wing militant Oath Keepers and a QAnon supporter.

An anti-abortion gun nut, she thinks:

  • The November 3, 2020 election was stolen from Donald Trump.
  • It was Antifa Rioters, not Trump terrorists, that stormed the nation’s Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Former assistant Michael Polloni has filed an ethics complaint against Rogers (R-Flagstaff) for her constant abuse, for breaking his property, for harassing him while he was suffering from COVID, and for forcing him to sign a resignation letter under duress, The Arizona Capitol Times reports

During her first ten days in office, Rogers shrieked at the young staffer so vehemently, he could feel her spittle on his face.

She told him to lose weight, so his suits would look better. Weighing over 300 pounds, he said the remark hurt him.

The last straw for Polloni was on January 14, when he returned to Capitol Hill after recovering from COVID.

Rogers told Polloni he was “sitting on his butt,” while he was home.” She said her “bullshit radar” was on.  “Quit or be fired,” she yelled.

Nasty campaigner

Rogers is an Air Force veteran who spent ten years trying to win an election. She won her Senate seat in her sixth run for office. She went so far as accusing her Republican rival of having ties to a sex-trafficking ring in 2018.

She spent more than a million dollars to win her seat by slandering then-Senator Sylvia Allen.

The complaint leads to a preliminary review of Rogers by the Senate Ethics Committee. That could take up to three weeks.

The complaint could result in a ruling to dismiss the case or begin a formal probe into the state Senator, who many suggest had ties to extremist groups that stormed the Capitol.

Polloni, who was from a military family, was smitten by Rogers when he saw her speak at a Turning Point USA event at NAU during her race for the LD 6 Senate seat in northern Arizona.

Senator Sine Kerr, the Buckeye Republican who chairs the Senate Ethics Committee, confirmed she received the complaint and will begin a complaint process laid out in the chamber’s rules.

Eagle Scout Award Cracked

When Polloni came back to work on January 14, after recovering from COVID, he found the personal items on his desk missing, including pictures, an Eagle Scout award, and a statuette of St. Michael given to him by his grandmother.

He found the heirlooms stuffed in drawers and at the bottom of a cabinet – and the Eagle Scout award was cracked.

Rogers told Polloni she threw his personal belongings in drawers while he was out because they were “junk.”

Rogers told Polloni to think of his office as a military barracks, which should be free of clutter, the complaint said.

“In his complaint, Polloni said he tried to explain that he felt disrespected.  He argued that his St. Michael statue should remain in the office because it was a gift from his grandmother that meant the world to him. He believed St. Michael — his baptismal saint and the archangel viewed as the leader of Heaven’s army — represented the pro-police, pro-military, pro-God values on which Rogers ran her campaign,” The Capital Times reported.

“You work for me. What do you not understand about that?” he recalled Rogers yelling.

“About an hour later, after his staff supervisor had spoken to Rogers, Polloni was called downstairs, where he was informed that his employment had been terminated.

Polloni said he’s receiving help from Representative Walt Blackman, who has refused to work with Rogers, knowing she’s crazy. Polloni also filed a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Rogers may join the notorious ranks of former Rep. Don Shooter, who was expelled from the state House over accusations that he harassed multiple women with lewd gestures and words — the first expulsion in 27 years.
