Election Day in Tucson and Pima County – VOTE!

voteHere are five things you need to know about voting today. Tucson Election Day: What you need to know (AZ Daily Star):

1 If you voted early, you can check to see whether your ballot has been received and accepted by visiting the Pima County Recorder’s Office website at recorder.pima.gov and clicking on “Early Ballot Status” or by calling 724-4330. (Please check online first.)

2  If you received a mail-in ballot but didn’t mail it, you can drop it off at a polling place until 7 p.m. Those ballots will be processed on Wednesday. It’s quicker for you and for the election staff if you bring in your ballot from home rather than to vote using a provisional ballot. REMEMBER TO SIGN AND DATE YOUR EARLY BALLOT.

3 To find your assigned polling place, check the sample ballot you received in the mail or click “Polling Location” at the recorder’s website. Polling Locations for the November 3, 2015 Consolidated Election (.pdf).

4 If you’re voting at a polling place, you need to bring government-issued photo identification, such as a driver’s license or a state or tribe ID card. Otherwise, you must present two other forms of ID that list your name and address (that matches your voter registration address), such as a utility bill and a vehicle registration.
