Thank God, it’s Sine Die! Now vote these Republicans out of office

The most incompetent and fiscally irresponsible Republican-dominated legislature in the history of Arizona, without equal, is finally over, thank God (barring another special session). The Legislature declared sine die late Thursday evening.

This modern-day John Birch Society's flirtation with "states rights" nullification "Tenther" bills to challenge the authority of the federal government, this modern-day "Know Nothing Party's" return to nativist and racist immigrant scapegoating, the GOP Taliban's regressive social engineering on everything from abortion to xenophobia, and the "birther" conspiracy theorists' descent into the lunatic fringe have reduced Arizona to a pariah state and the laughingstock of the nation in two short years. No legislature has caused so much damage to the citizens of Arizona in so little time as this legislature. And the radical Republicans who dominate the legislature are solely responsible for this train wreck.

Forty-four years of failed leadership under Republican rule must end. The future of Arizona depends on it. Now vote these Republicans out of office.
