Both candidates have indicated their participation.
Ciscomani defeated former then-LD 10 State Senator Kirsten Engel (D) twice, by 5232 votes in Nov. 2022 (51% to 49%), by 10,822 votes in Nov. 2024 (50% to 47%).
JoAnna ran before for then LD 11 State Senate against incumbent Vince Leach in Nov. 2020.

Latest voter stats for CD 6 from AZ Sec. of State website: Dems 159,568; Republicans 190,711; Independents 178,264. With a 31,143 Republican voter edge, I hope the Mendoza campaign is targeting the Independents with mailers, phone calls, etc. https://apps.azsos.gov/election/VoterReg/2026/State-Voter-Registration_July_2026.pdf
Vote wisely on or before Nov. 3, 2026.
