Traitors Andy Biggs and Paul Gosar Vote Against Victims of Child Abuse

This report should not be a surprise to all the sane and decent members of the Arizona Political Sphere.

January 6 collaborators (traitors) Andy Biggs and Paul Gosar continued their descent into the political pit of loathsomeness with their vote (along with 26 other fringe reactionary depraved individuals) against the Respect for Child Survivors Act, bipartisan legislation that would have set up proper procedures for experts in law enforcement (notably the F.B.I.) to review accusations of sexual abuse and exploitation.

Who would be against that?

The twenty-eight members of the ultra-Republican right in the House including Boggs, Gosar, Laurie Bobert, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Mo Brooks, Ronny Jackson (Trump’s former physician at the White House,) and Chip Roy.

Thankfully, the great majority of Republicans chose the path of decency in voting for this legislation.

There is no justification for this vote against the victims of child abuse.

The people in the Congressional Districts that voted for these miserable excuses for public service deserve the blame for resending these individuals, some of whom willingly collaborated on the Domestic Terrorist attack on the Nation’s Capitol on January 6, 2022, back to the House of Representatives.

In the case of Biggs and Gosar, there were viable right of center Republican type candidates who would have served their districts with higher levels of character and distinction than the incumbents who continually looked for new ways to make the sane and decent members of the Arizona Political Sphere puke.

There is always the hope that the majority of the residents in Bigg’s and Gosar’s Districts will see the light and send these two disgraces back home.

However, given that they should have already been aware of these traitors’ involvement on January 6 (Biggs was also referred to the House Ethics Committee for not complying with a subpoena from the January 6 Committee) and unimaginable votes (like the one against 9/11 first responders) before this vote against the victims of child abuse, I am not holding my breath.

But where there is life, there is hope so maybe the light bulb will turn on for these people in 2024.
