Watch Arizona Democrats Rebuke Out-of-Touch with Reality MAGA Republicans on the House Floor

If people want to know what the priorities are for each major Arizona political party and where they both stand on the in touch with reality spectrum, then watch the video below from last week’s Arizona House session, where Republicans defended helping data centers and the wealthy, and Democrats rebuked them for not advancing budget proposals that assist those in need.

Unfortunately for Arizonans, the Republicans’ comments, in which they hail the wealthy and tax credits for them and data centers, while telling everyone else they are mostly on their own and to pull themselves up, are not a blooper reel.

This is their reality.

Is it yours?

What was very nauseating was MAGA White Nationalist Fanatic Sylvia Allen saying, “Teach your kids to work. And they can be a billionaire one day if they really want to be.”

Mariana Sandoval had a great response to her when she offered:

“It was mentioned that if you work hard enough, then you too could be wealthy. I know people that work two, three jobs to support their families, and they’re still struggling. “

So did Quanta Crews who said:

“People don’t ask to be poor. Everyone who’s hungry isn’t hungry because they don’t work. Some people are working and are still hungry. Some people are working and are still living in their car. Ask me how I know, because I’ve been there…We are giving nickels and taking thousands of dollars from people and saying that it’s okay.”

Consuelo Hernandez relayed about the Republican budget and their commitment to all things plutocratic:

“I don’t see a budget that has Arizona Families First here…This is absolutely a budget that has corporations first, giving millions of dollars in tax handouts.”

It is as Representative Sarah Ligouri said in a weekend press release:

“Republicans are choosing to make across-the-board cuts to critical agencies while giving millions in tax incentives to data centers while eliminating programs that help families put food on the table, like Double Up Food Bucks and Meals on Wheels, which means people young and old don’t go hungry. At the same time, they are rushing to fully align with the Trump tax cuts, even as other states have taken a more cautious approach because of the real financial risks to their budgets and economies.”

Again, which reality do you want to vote for this November.

People have the power to choose their government.

Do they want one that rewards the wealthiest or one that helps lifts up everyone and offers a ladder to the neediest?

Your vote. Your choice.
