Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, along with other state legal heads, are proceeding with lawsuits to get the Musk/Trump/Vance Central Committee to retreat on their war to make America weak and a third rate nation.
Today (May 5, 2025,) Mayes and other State Attorney Generals announcing two efforts to stop the American Duce and his Science and Public Education Denying MAGA lackeys from illegally hollowing out personnel staff and vital programs at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Anti Clean Energy’s regimes unconstitutional efforts to cancel wind power energy projects.
Readers will remember that Mr. Trump has been on record accusing wind power energy projects of killing masses of birds and causing cancer.
If Trump and his MAGA band are able to get their way to gut HHS, programs that help people like Head Start for preschoolers, health safety measures, disease prevention and control, and airconditoning and heating assistance.
In the press release announcing the HHS lawsuit, Attorney General Mayes wrote:
“Programs like LIHEAP (Low Income Energy Assistance Program) and Head Start aren’t luxuries—they are lifelines for Arizonans. They keep families cool in our summer months, help children get a fair start in life, and provide critical support in every corner of our state. The Trump Administration’s reckless dismantling of HHS threatens to rip these essential services away from the people who need them most. I’m taking legal action to stop it—because no administration has the right to unilaterally destroy the programs that millions of Arizonans and Americans rely on.”
In the suit to restore to wind power projects, Mayes relayed:
“Halting the development of wind energy is not just bad policy—it’s illegal. In Arizona, wind energy projects on State Trust lands generate critical revenue that supports our public schools and other beneficiaries. The Trump Administration’s blanket freeze undermines that progress, threatening both our economy and the environment. I’m suing because Arizonans deserve a cleaner, more affordable, and more secure energy future.”
